At present, some cities in China have begun to apply organic mulch to the soil surface under forests and shrubs. As an emerging landscape covering material, organic mulch is constantly expanding its application field in urban forestry construction in China. For roof greening and sponge city construction, it is of great significance, as water retention alone can greatly save water resources
